The course includes 4 theory modules (DVD, Shuttle tour, adapted riding techniques and perfect lines in each sector of the track) + 4 RUNS on the track. The 4th RUN is optional. The module “Technique of the bike” will talk about “tires”, “suspension set-up” and “examples of an ideal lap in
Spa-Francorchamps with telemetry data”.


A) Condition to participate:

 

1) Being 18 years or older

2) Fill in the entry form and SEND IT BACK TO US

3) Transfer the amount to our account exclusively in EURO, or give us a CREDIT CARD number.

4) An entry is valid for 1 person and not for 1 bike; each person who wants to participate has to pay the full amount

  

ATTENTION: DATE OF PAYMENT

Example: entry form sent back on 30/03 and payment made on 20/05.

Registration will be valid on 20/05!

 

When these conditions are met, you will be registered with the BIKERS’ School and you will receive a confirmation letter with more useful info.

 

B) The bike:

 

1) Model built after 1985 (roadster or sport)

2) Removal of MIRRORS is compulsory

3) Cover the lights with tape (to avoid broken glass)

4) Tyres and brakes in good condition: TECHNICAL SCRUTINEERING to take place

5) Open exhaust and slick tyres authorised.

 

C) On the premises:

 

1) Make your way to the F1-paddock (see ACCESS MAP)

 

- By STER via the tunnel under the track, for the vehicles lower than 2.15 m

- By STAVELOT-BLANCHIMONT, for the vehicles higher than 2.15 m

 

2) Present yourself between 07:30 and 08:00 o'clock in the WELCOME TRUCK with your identity card and the confirmation of your registration.  After having signed the indemnity form, you'll receive an arm-band and a number for your motorcycle, which give you access to the track.

 

3) Afterwards you'll join the designated group with your bike properly prepared.

Fix the numbers on your bike so that it can be easily recognised.  Follow the directions of the instructors present.

 

 4) See that your petrol-tank is filled before you start the course.  There is no petrol on the paddock, but there is a service station located in the village of Francorchamps. You can fill up with petrol during lunchtime.

 

5) The course starts at 08:45 and ends around 18:00 o'clock.

Is there anything special we ought to know about riding on a circuit?

There is no particular knowledge required: just the meaning of flags and lights: have a look at the significance of the flags and lights in the chapter on SECURITY, below the regulations.

 

Does everybody get a personal instructor?

Not really, there is one instructor who will attend on a group of 8 riders all day long - before, during and after the runs.  This way, we guarantee a personalised training.

 

Can I book for the BIKERS' SCHOOL and the free runs on the same day?

That's impossible for the same day.  Each participant rides as long on the track as the participants of the open runs.  While the latter have time between each run, the BIKERS' SCHOOL has a full day.  

 

Are riders grouped in the various runs according to their riding level?

Yes, as long as we know what your level is.  We’d like to put amateurs, experienced riders and professional riders in different groups.  However, the different levels will ride altogether (max. 60) on the Circuit.

 

Do Motocycle Club (official or not) get any special discount on fees?

No, everybody has to pay the full price when applying.  But you can contact us to talk about other advantages we might be wanting to grant you.

 

 

Does the bike have to be properly insured?

No. Insurance is not compulsory.

 

Can we ride 2 bikes?

Yes, you’ll be given two same bike numbers.  Please inform us precisely by e-mail (info@bikersdays.com) or by fax +32 (0) 87 53 90 01.  Of course you must not change bikes during one particular run.  Controls will be strictly carried out to avoid any misuse.

 

What will happen in case of accident?

The organizer declines any responsibilities in case of accident between the participants.

You will have to find a compromise with the involved participants.

What about catering?

Circuit bars will open from 8.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Alcohol consumption is prohibited to participants

 

Do we have to pay to get in?

 No. The entrance is free (general+paddock)

 

Are riders distributed in the various runs according to their riding level?

Yes, as long as we know what your level is. We’d like to put amateurs, experienced riders and professional riders in different groups.

 

Which documents do we have to take?   

Your identity card (or your driving license) and the letter of confirmation are mandatory.  We also advise you to take the proof of payment and your entry form, and a credit card (or cash).

 

 

  What will happen in case of terrible weather conditions?

The event will take place unless cancellation of the event by the organizer due to exceptional conditions.

You must make up your own minds whether to take part or not (no refund).

 

I’ve applied and paid but unfortunately, I cannot come.  Can I get a refund?

No amount will be refunded.

 

Can the original equipment of the bike be modified?

Yes, slick tyres or other racing modifications are authorized.

 

Is there a photographer on place?

Yes, a photographer is present during each event.  Photos will be shown in the F1 paddock in front of the closed parks where you can buy them.
