Among the international excursions offered by DG Sport as part of the Bikers’Days 2020, it is impossible to miss the meeting in the middle of summer (August 6 and 7) on the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. It is even fitting to speak of an ideal destination under the Emilia-Romagna sun, just to discover or rediscover a superb track serving in particular as a setting for the World Superbike Championship. A circuit which Enzo Ferrari once described as the "little Nürburgring"! No less ...
"The Imola circuit remains unknown, and it is a shame, explains Florian Jupsin, head of DG Sport. With a length of almost 5 kilometers, it is both fast and technical, with curves as famous as Tamburello, Tosa, Piratella, Acque Minerali, Variante Alta or Rivazza. It is of course no coincidence that the World Superbike meets there every season. Imola is the Ducati Home Track, whose headquarters are located just 40 kilometres away, in Borgo Panigale. For the riders, this is pure bliss, and many of them talk about the braking zone downhill before rushing into the Acque Minerali. A real challenge that will not leave anyone indifferent…"
In addition to the possibility of offering a maximum of sensations on a legendary track, Imola allows you to spend a few days of Dolce Vita in the heart of the Po Valley, in the immediate vicinity of famous places such as Bologna, Faenza and Maranello. Florence and its heritage gems are just 75 kilometres away, while the Adriatic Sea is not far away either. In short, the ideal location for a 100% fun stay, with family or friends.
